The Hamptons International Film Festival Announces the Digital Media Initiative with Served Fresh Media for the 20th Anniversary Celebration

Hamptons International Film Festival (@HamptonsFilm) has announced it’s robust digital media initiative for the 20th Hamptons International Film Festival in partnership with Served Fresh Media who will providing digital strategy and execution including a new website, a new festival blog and content strategy, social media and live, real-time social media reporting of the festival which takes place October 4-8 in East Hampton and is chaired by Alec Baldwin.  The festival’s digital media initiative is being sponsored by Pointburst (a social media amplification platform) (@thepointburst).

The digital media initiative coincides with the festival’s 20th anniversary which will be acknowledged and celebrated in the months leading up to the festival and during the festival. Festival Director, Karen Arikian, outlines the 20th anniversary celebration in an open letter to the film community.

The Hamptons International Film Festival Announces the Launch of Its New Website and Digital Media Initiative for the 20th Anniversary Celebration (Oct. 4-8) (#HIFF12)

The Digital Media Initiative (sponsored by social media syndication platform, PointBurst) includes the debut of a Hamptons International Film Festival blog, an expanded social media presence and extensive engagement with its core film supporters and the broader film
community through original content.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of theHamptons International Film Festival, which was founded expressly to celebrate the best in independent film in its various forms. The Festival exists to shine a spotlight on filmmakers while moving and inspiring audiences across the Hamptons and beyond. The much-anticipated annual event draws over 18,000 attendees each year from 20 countries and screens more than 100 films over five days, all in a spectacular and immersive environment.
